About Fahed
My name is Fahed Abu-diab. I'm 29 years old, Palestinian, and after nearly a decade of incarceration, I'm grateful to say that I'll be coming home soon. I was arrested at just 19 years old, and over the years I've worked hard to grow, mature, and transform my life into something meaningful and purposeful.
During my incarceration, I made a commitment to bettering myself in every way possible. I have completed every program my facility offers and am currently enrolled in college courses to continue my education and prepare for a successful future. I spend much of my time working out, reading, learning, and focusing on personal growth. I enjoy deep, intellectual conversations and connecting with people who value honesty, self-awareness, and meaningful communication.
I'm also passionate about prison reform, especially advocacy for young adult offenders. Having entered the system at such a young age, I understand firsthand how important guidance, rehabilitation, and second chances can be. My goal is not only to come home successfully, but to continue growing into someone who can positively impact others as well.
I currently live in the honor unit at my facility, which reflects the effort I've put into staying out of trouble and maintaining a positive record. Every step I've taken over the past several years has been focused on building a better future for myself and becoming the kind of man who can contribute positively to society and to the people around him.
As I prepare for this new chapter of life, I hope to meet someone genuine to build a meaningful connection with — someone open-minded, compassionate, and willing to take a chance on getting to know the person I've become, rather than just the mistakes of my past.
