I would like to respectfully start off by saying, Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this. My name is Chris, and I'm writing in hopes of meeting new people and building a genuine bond and friendship.

Well, since I'm limited in my wording, I want to write things that are impactful in hopes to grab your attention. I am currently serving a lengthy sentence for a crime I committed in my ignorance as a free man. However, this prison sentence has turned out to be a huge blessing for my life.

Prior to my incarceration, I was lost within my life with no direction and living in a state of hopelessness. Since that time, nine years ago when I received my sentence, I came to a point in my life where I was confronted with the thought of there must be something more to life than just this.

Well, my prayer was answered for sure. Today I have discovered that my freedom is more than external, as I mentioned as acting and ignorance as a free man. I have come to a place in my life where I am confined by an external fence but yet free internally. I have taught myself how to read. I earned my GED. I have earned countless certificates in my participation in groups, and I have gained tools for trades upon my release.

Currently, I train service dogs in hopes of graduating them to be of service to 1st responders and military vets that may be facing PTSD. I am also learning how to care for and assist individuals who are in Hospice. I would love to share with you so much more of my hopes today if you're willing to hear. I am an open book and I am. Willing to answer any questions you have for me.
