Michely’s Community Closet is dedicated to uplifting individuals and families across Hartford County and New Haven, Connecticut by providing compassionate, practical support during times of transition. The Closet serves people returning home from incarceration, youth being discharged from programs, and anyone in the community facing hardship. Michely offers essential items such as clothing, hygiene supplies, and basic necessities, and when individuals secure housing, she helps them furnish their new apartments so they can begin rebuilding with dignity and stability. Beyond what she can personally provide, Michely connects people to trusted community resources, reentry programs, and supportive services that help them move forward with confidence. Her mission is to meet people where they are, offer what she can, and ensure that no one has to navigate reentry or crisis alone.
